Yes, it is me! Wanted to get out a personal note to our subscribers. We have added a new member to our Catalyst team, Shawn Mosser. You can read about Shawn on our web site. We continue to fight the technology battles and are making efforts to be more proactive and reduce the surprises that technology springs on us. One of the ways we are doing that is by doing a QBR (quarterly business review). OK, we are not doing these quarterly, but we tech folks have a tough time letting go of our acronyms. The QBR is a chance for us (you and Catalyst Solutions) to look at the primary areas of technology infrastructure and how well they are meeting your needs as well as insight into what to look out for. The areas we will address will be:
- Servers
- Workstations
- Network
- Internet/VPN Access
- Firewall
- Backup (and Disaster Recovery)
- Email (your domain and Anti-Spam)
- Anti-Virus
